American Libraries the magazine of the American Library Association.
Ariadne is a Web magazine for information professionals in archives, libraries and museums in all sectors. Since its inception in January 1996 it has attempted to keep the busy practitioner abreast of current digital library initiatives as well as technological developments further afield. It is published by UKOLN every three months across the year beginning in January. Biblio Tech Review information on key technologies affecting the information industry.
Bulletin of the American Society for Information Science and Technology is a bi-monthly news magazine packed with developments and issues affecting the field, pragmatic management reports, opinion, and news of people and events in the information science community. 
Code4Lib Journal exists to foster community and share information among those interested in the intersection of libraries, technology, and the future.  
Computers in Libraries is a monthly magazine that provides complete coverage of the news and issues in the rapidly evolving field of library information technology. Focusing on the practical application of technology in community, school, academic, and special libraries, CIL includes discussions of the impact of emerging computer technologies on library systems and services, and on the library community itself. D-Lib Magazine is a solely electronic publication with a primary focus on digital library research and development, including but not limited to new technologies, applications, and contextual social and economic issues. The magazine is currently published six times a year. 
E-JASL: The Electronic Journal of Academic and Special Librarianship is an independent, professional, refereed electronic journal dedicated first and foremost to advancing knowledge and research in the areas of academic and special librarianship. Evidence Based Library and Information Practice (EBLIP) is an open access, peer reviewed journal published quarterly by the University of Alberta Learning Services. EBLIP publishes original research and commentary on the topic of evidence based library and information practice, as well as reviews of previously published research on a wide number of topics.  
Hipertext.net is a digital space created and promoted by the Information Science Section of the Department of Political and Social Science of the Pompeu Fabra University. It forms part of the complex of activites of the Online Master in Digital Documentation. 
IFLA Journal journal documenting news of IFLA (International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions). Is published four times a year. Each issue covers news of current IFLA activities and articles, selected to reflect the variety of the international information profession, ranging from freedom of information, preservation, services to the visually impaired and intellectual property.  
Information Research is an open access, international, peer-reviewed, scholarly journal, dedicated to making accessible the results of research across a wide range of information-related disciplines. It is privately published and edited by Professor T.D. Wilson. It is hosted, and given technical support, by Lund University Libraries, Sweden. 
Information Technology and Disabilities E-Journal is a peer-reviewed e-journal. Published by EASIsince the early 1990s. Informing Science is a academically peer refereed journal endeavors to provide an understanding of the complexities in informing clientele. Fields from information systems, library science, journalism in all its forms to education all contribute to this science. 
Informing Science and Information Technology The purpose of issues is to encourage the sharing of knowledge and collaboration among the wide variety of fields that use information technology to inform clients.  
International Journal of Digital Curation is entirely devoted to papers, articles and news items on curation of digital objects and related issues. The journal is published in electronic form, two times a year.  
Issues in Science & Technology Librarianship (ISTL) publishes substantive material of interest to science and technology librarians. It serves as a vehicle for sci-tech librarians to share details of successful programs, materials for the delivery of information services, background information and opinions on topics of current interest, to publish research and bibliographies on issues in science and technology libraries. 
Journal of Digital Information publishing papers on the management, presentation and uses of information in digital environments, JoDI is a peer-reviewed Web journal supported by Texas A&M University Libraries. First publishing papers in 1997. Is an electronic-only, peer-reviewed journal covering the broad topics related to digital libraries, hypertext and hypermedia systems, and the issues of digital information. 
Journal of Information and Organizational Sciences of the Faculty of Organization and Informatics in Varazdin publishes original scientific papers, preliminary communications, review articles, conference papers and professional papers from the field of information and organizational sciences, as well as relevant contributions from related scientific disciplines.  
Library and Information Research is published three times a year in Spring, Summer and Winter. Online since 2007, LIRG (Library and Information Research Group) adopts an open access philosophy to publishing research. Encourages the reporting of research by practitioners, promotes the use and understanding of quality research methods while raising awareness of new tools, books and funding opportunities as well as providing a forum for comment and news. 
Library Journal is the oldest and most respected publication covering the library field. Considered to be the “bible” of the library world, LJ is read by over 100,000 library directors, administrators, and staff in public, academic, and special libraries. LJ is the single-most comprehensive publication for librarians, with groundbreaking features and analytical news reports covering technology, management, policy, and other professional concerns. Its hefty review sections evaluate nearly 7000 books annually, along with hundreds of audiobooks, videos, databases, web sites, and systems that libraries buy.  
Libertarian Papers a new type of libertarian publication: fast, scholarly. It is a peer reviewed, exclusively online interdisciplinary journal. We welcome contributions on any suitable topic of libertarian scholarship, including philosophy, economics, legal theory, political science, history, and social/cultural analysis.  
Library Philosophy and Practice (LPP) is a peer-reviewed electronic journal that publishes articles exploring the connection between library practice and the philosophy and theory behind it. These include explorations of current, past, and emerging theories of librarianship and library practice, as well as reports of successful, innovative, or experimental library procedures, methods, or projects in all areas of librarianship, set in the context of applied research. 
Library Student Journal (LSJ) was founded in 2006 by Masters students in the Department of Library and Information Studies at the University at Buffalo. Its authors, readers, and editorial board members include future Library and Information Science (LIS) practitioners around the world. LSJ is divided into four sections: 1. Articles - peer-reviewed research and literature reviews 2. Essay - less-formal papers of a personal or informational nature 3. Editorials - opinion pieces of any length 4. Reviews - reviews of recently published or commonly used LIS books 
LIBRES: Library and Information Research Electronic Journal is an international, refereed electronic journal devoted to new research in Library and Information Science, distributed through a listserver and an ftp site. A full-text archive from 1996 onwards is available.  
Partnership: the Canadian Journal of Library and Information Practice and Research e-journal will publish the research on best practices of Partnership members in public, school, college, university and special libraries. A national advisory board and a jury to vet the content of the new publication are made up of members from The Partnership associations and others. he first issue will appear late 2006. 
Progressive Librarian is a forum for critical perspectives in Library and Information Science (LIS), featuring articles, book reviews, bibliographies, reports and documents that explore progressive perspectives on librarianship and information issues. 
The Open Information Science Journal is an Open Access online journal, which publishes research articles, reviews, and letters in all areas of Library and Information Science. Is a peer reviewed journal, aims to provide the most complete and reliable source of information on current developments and research in the field.  
TL Infobits an electronic service of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill ITS Center for Instructional Technology. Each month the ITS-TL's Academic Outreach Consultant monitors and selects from a number of information and instructional technology sources that come to her attention and provides brief notes for electronic dissemination to educators. 
Update editorially independent of CILIP, the Update magazine is designed with the needs of individual members in mind. It offers industry news, comment and debate on issues impacting on the library and information scene, including policy issues, the political landscape, changes in technology and personal professional development. Update is delivered to all CILIP members and is also available by subscription to non-members.  
Urban Library Journal an open access, refereed journal of research and discussion dealing with all aspects of urban libraries and librarianship, welcomes articles dealing with academic, research, public, school, and special libraries in an urban setting. Virginia Libraries is a quarterly journal published by the Virginia Library Association whose purpose is to develop, promote, and improve library and information services and the profession of librarianship in order to advance literacy and learning and to ensure access to information in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
